Hobnobbers
opened on the lower end of Main Street in Milo late in August 2008.
Valerie Robertson opened the Pub with the help of her friends and
relatives. Disaster struck within a few weeks, her business was in
ruins after the devastating fire that burned most of Main Street in
Milo. To read the article that was in the Bangor Daily News follow, this
link. Other articles and information can be found at the Milo Historical Society Website.
Milo had many people pledging to help the
community after this terrible fire that changed Milo's landscape. The
old familiar sign on the True Value was gone that welcomed you to Milo,
A Friendly Town. |

Many
months later Hobnobbers opened the doors again at a new location. This
location is very unique, it is the old Milo Community Hospital which
had been vacant for many years. Hospitality Hair and Nails also opened
in the old hospital as well. Follow this link to the story about the
reopening that was broadcast by
WABI-TV news.
